Make It Easy Monday: Power Green Smoothie

St. Patrick’s Day is on the way! For many people, this holiday means going out for a few drinks. While there are plenty of gluten-free beers and hard ciders to choose from, those certainly aren’t your healthiest beverage options. This St. Patrick’s Day, opt for a healthier drink, like a green smoothie.

While some prepackaged green smoothies aren’t gluten-free because they contain wheatgrass, fear not—this homemade version, brought to you by Almond Breeze, is completely gluten-free. Plus, it’s super-nutritious and incredibly easy to make. You can bring it to work, enjoy it for breakfast, or have it as a healthy morning or afternoon snack! Since this recipe makes two servings, you can split it with a friend or family member, or enjoy it twice yourself!

Power Green Smoothie

This naturally gluten-free smoothie is full of green goodness. Pineapple and pear balance out the leafy greens, making this a great go-to smoothie at any time.

Special thanks to Almond Breeze for providing this healthy green recipe! I love Almond Breeze’s dairy-free, gluten-free almond milk beverages. I use their original unsweetened almond milk to make mashed potatoes, their vanilla almond milk on my cereal, and enjoy their chocolate almond milk as a delicious treat!
