Easy Gluten-Free Super Party Cupcakes made with Glutino Cake Mix


It’s summertime, and the baking is easy…thanks to Glutino!

I love Glutino’s gluten-free Old Fashioned Yellow Cake Mix. It’s easy to work with and prepare and always comes out delicious, taste-wise and texture-wise. It delights my gluten-free friends and family as well as those who aren’t even gluten-free! So of course when I was making gluten-free cupcakes for a recent get-together, I chose this cake mix to make what I call Super Party Cupcakes.


See, I amped up the “party-ness” of these cupcakes by adding two very important ingredients: just the right frosting, and the perfect cupcake topper (because all cupcakes need a topper, don’t they?). Once I made my cupcakes using the Glutino cake mix, I waited for them to cool and then topped them with Betty Crocker Rainbow Chip frosting (yep, it’s gluten-free!). I loved the vanilla creaminess of this frosting, and the little rainbowy bits in it are strangely addictive.


But I didn’t stop there. To really make this a party cake, I added Party Cake PEEPS to the top! Because there ain’t no party like a chick party…a marshmallow chick party, that is!


So there you have it–super-easy, super-festive gluten-free cupcakes that kids and kids at heart will love. Use your leftover Betty Crocker frosting as a dip for Glutino’s gluten-free graham-flavored animal crackers, and use any leftover PEEPS you may have as a sugary snack.
